Today we were at the Eden Project. The Eden Project is a Botanic Garden in Cornwall. It opened for the first time in March 2001 and since then many people visit it everyday and today we were some of them. The Eden Project has 6 big domes where they changed the temperature and the climate so that exotic plants could live there. It was really impressing that exotic plants could really live there. The air was really humid.
We made a Workshop there and also learned about the climate change and how it is affecting the plants. Before that though, we got some worksheets to do in the rain forest. We hat to look for plants with the adaptations asked, which were for example thorns, draw them and then explain what the adaptations are good for.
Then we had some time to just walk around by ourselves to have a look at everything.
